As a Solutions Engineer for the BBC Experimentation team, I was responsible for translating business requirements into practical tools and deliverables. Being the sole technical expert on the team, I quickly adapted to the ever-changing business requirements and become the primary point of contact between our team and others.
Headline testing is a segment of A/B testing which involves generating several titles variation for an article and conducting experiments with different audience groups to determine the most successful one.
Given the sensitive data and complex technical nature of bbc.com, I designed a user-friendly tool that enabled users to create headline tests at scale without incurring any risk. With this internal tool, users can effortlessly select a headline, generate a variant, review and ultimately publish it.
Plotting the results of two headline variations
